History and Asian Studies faculty receives US Army Pacific recognition

Assistant Professor James Corcoran, Ph.D., College of Extended and Interdisciplinary Education, received public recognition from Headquarters, U.S. Army Pacific (USARPAC), for his role as invited Subject Matter Expert  in command and staff exercises related to China and Asia. The USARPAC exercise took place in Honolulu during the last week of January and the first week of February, 2016.
USARPAC Chief of Staff, Major General Christopher P. Hughes, praised Corcoran's efforts, saying in part that "As a subject matter expert in Asian Affairs and Chinese History, you brought the highest caliber of experience, insight, and knowledge to the program."
