Celebrating National Disability Awareness Month

Submitted by Bernard K. Nunies, SPHR, SHRM-SCP, HR Director of Staff Relations and Operations

October is National Disability Awareness Month, and this year’s theme is “#InclusionWorks.” During the month, we celebrate the contributions of workers with disabilities and the value of a diverse workforce in living the University’s values of Aloha, Pono, and Kuleana. We are committed to foster a diverse, equitable environment in which faculty, staff, and students excel. We invite those with disabilities to self-identify here and let us know if you require any reasonable accommodations.

More information can be found on the US Department of Labor website and on the HR tab of Pipeline.
