Department Chair of History and International Studies Patrick Bratton, Ph.D., interviewed history professor Linda Lierheimer, Ph.D., on ThinkTech Hawaii’s August 4 Global Connections show about her research on women and religion during the Reformation era, and she shared some tales of rebellious nuns in early modern France. She also talked about her use of historical role-playing games in her classes at HPU.

Lierheimer is the Chair of the Department of Arts, Humanities and Languages and the coordinator of the Minor in Gender and Women’s Studies. She is currently working on a book entitled Disobedient Daughters: The Demission of an Ursuline Superior in Early Modern Dijon.
