Department Chair of History & International Studies conducts research in India

Over HPU spring break, Patrick Bratton, Ph.D., Chair of the Department of History and International Studies, traveled to New Delhi and Mumbai India for research.  He is working on projects on India's rise as a maritime power and evaluating the foreign and security policy of the government of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. During his trip, he gave a talk on "The U.S. as a Pacific Power" to the Centre for East Asian Studies at Jawaharlal Nehru University.
