Kira
Vinke (BA International Relations ’10), who is an analyst at the Potsdam
Institute for Climate Impact Research, was featured in Origin magazine as an “Eco Rockstar.” In her
position at the institute, she works on policy briefs for the government of
Germany and the European Union.
In February, Vinke visited Hawai‘i and
was a guest on the ThinkTech Hawaii ”Global Connections” show where she was
interviewed by Associate Professor of Political Science Patrick Bratton, Ph.D. They
discussed her valuable HPU and Hawai‘i experience and her work on climate
