HPU Represented at the SHRM Hawai‘i Annual Conference

The Hawai'i chapter of the Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM) held its annual conference at the Hawai'i Convention Center on Thursday, Oct. 13, 2016.  Attendees selected from a variety of session topics, including one that featured HPU’s HR Director of Staff Relations & Operations, Bernard Nunies.  With over 120 professionals attending this session, Nunies facilitated a panel discussion on the topic of “Onboarding, Inboarding, and Employee Engagement” and the group shared best practices on how to advance the candidate experience and improve recruitment and retention. 

Stay tuned as the HPU HR department puts these best practices into action with its new Onboarding Program to be launched this year.
