Graduate nursing student receives scholarship

Rene Steinhauer, MSN FNP student, was awarded one of two graduate nursing scholarships from the Association of Nurses Executives (AONE) Hawaii Chapter at the annual AONE conference held at the Royal Hawaiian Hotel on Nov., 6. In appreciation of the scholarship award, Steinhauer contributed signed copies of his book, "Saving Jimani: Life and Death in the Haiti Earthquake" (2015).

Me Fuimaono-Poe, FNP (MSN ‘13), who is an APRN at Queen's Medical Center, along with adjunct faculty and Acute-Care NP Program Coordinator, Martin Camacho, ACNP-BC, displayed competitive poster presentations at the AONE conference. Chair of the Graduate Programs Nursing, Diane Knight, Ph.D., also had two poster presentations at the conference.
