Toy & food donation drive 11/30-12/4
The 2^nd annual Season of Giving Aloha Donation Drive is being held at Aloha Tower Marketplace and Fort Street Mall, 11 a.m.-1 p.m., Nov. 30-Dec. 4, to benefit Make-A-Wish Hawai'i, The Hawai'i Food Bank, River of Life and Goodwill Hawai'i. New/ slightly used toys (all age groups), non-perishable foods and canned goods, hygiene products for men & women and slightly used clothing welcomed. Sponsors: Circle K International, Campus Activities Board, Student Philanthropy Council, United Nations Club, Christian Student Organization and Travel Industry Management Student Organization. The Summer 2016 schedule of classes is now available and registration is open, and Spring 2016 registration continues. Get the best selection of classes by registering now before the holiday break! Complete Student Course Evaluations today!

Don’t miss the chance to make your voices heard about how to improve course content and design, teaching effectiveness and create better learning environments at HPU! Students enrolled in Fall 15-Week & Fall B 8-Week courses who complete their course evaluations by Thurs., Dec. 17, 5 p.m. automatically participate in the “Early Grade View Incentive” to view final grades one week early! Use the link in the invitation sent to your HPU email, or log onto Blackboard to complete course evaluations. More information here.

Deadline for winter and spring internships

The deadline to register for winter internships is on Mon., Dec. 14, 2015, and for spring internships, it is Mon., Jan., 25, 2016. In some cases a general petition may be required. Students should check with the Career Services Center prior to starting any internship for academic credit.

Sharky’s Cove & ATM Lounge winter hours

·         Sharky’s Cove will be closed: Mon., Dec. 14, 2015-Fri., Jan. 15, 2016. It will reopen for normal business hours on Tues., Jan. 19, 2016, 7:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m.

·         The Lounge at ATM will be open Mon.-Fri., 9 a.m.-5 p.m. during the winter break: Mon., Dec. 14, 2015-Fri., Jan 15, 2016. It will be closed on holidays.

Fall Commencement is in two weeks: Volunteers still needed

Volunteers are still needed for various shifts at the Thursday, Dec. 17, commencement ceremony at the Blaisdell Arena: Exhibition Hall/Arena Set Up, Line Leaders, Bag Check Room Attendants, and Concierge on Concourse.
