Oct. 6, 2015: Announcements

HPU student athletes, staff and administrators at the 2014 Men's March Against Violence starting point at the State Capitol Rotunda. 

Men’s March Against Violence: 10/8 noon
This 21st annual event features a short march and rally in support of non-violence. While men are asked to march, the entire community is welcome to march alongside them.

“Join the HPU ‘ohana and about 1,000 members of the Honolulu community in this march against domestic violence," said VP of University Relations Sam Moku. “This will be HPU’s third year participating. Let’s ‘walk the talk’ together, showing support for our community.”          

Meet on Fort Street Mall outside MP 105 to walk together, 11:45 a.m., Thursday, Oct. 8, to the State Capitol Rotunda, where the march begins at noon. View details here. RSVP here.


Cambodia Winter Study Abroad

EndNote Basic workshops
HPU Libraries are offering workshops on EndNote Basic, a free reference management program. Sessions will be held from Oct. 19-22 on both campuses. Students, faculty and staff are welcome to attend. For more information or to register for a session, click here.

James Vaughan Poetry Award
The annual award celebrates local writers and the literary arts. This year's contest offers a $250 cash prize and publication in HPU's literary magazine Hawai‘i Pacific Review. Deadline: Dec. 30. More...
