Free student yoga session: Thursday, Sept. 17
Students: Join Campus Recreation for a free hour session of Yoga, 5 p.m.-6 p.m. at ATM. Limited yoga mats will be supplied. Barnes & Nobles College is fully stocked on yoga mats and has different color choices available for $22-30. Unable to attend? Join the Tuesday Sunset Yoga session, 6 p.m.-7 p.m., ATM Waterfront Lanai. Yoga sessions for Fall 2015 are every Tuesday and Thursday. 50th Anniversary volunteers

Barnes & Noble Grand opening
Join the celebration at the new bookstore location on Thursday, Sept. 17, at Aloha Tower Marketplace! Exclusive savings, giveaways and prizes will occur throughout the day. Kahu Kordell Kekoa will conduct a blessing of the store at 12:45 p.m. followed by refreshments and coffee sampling from Hawaiian Paradise Coffee. The store will be open until 8 p.m.

BOGO hat sale
Come down to the Downtown or Hawaii Loa campus bookstores from Sept. 15-17 and buy one hat or visor at regular price and get the second (of equal or lessen value) at 50% off. Great new designs and old favorites available as well. While supplies last; cannot be combined with other discounts or offers.

Petition to graduate due
For graduating students: All students who are completing their program requirements by the end of Fall/Winter 2015 must submit a PTG by Monday, Sept. 28. Students are required to submit a PTG whether or not they plan to participate in the commencement ceremony on Thursday, Dec. 17.  If a student submitted a PTG but did not receive a scanned copy of the PTG in their HPU email, they should contact the Registrar’s office at ptg@hpu.edu.

Po‘okela Fellows Internship
The City and County of Honolulu is recruiting for its internship program for spring and summer 2016. Applications will be accepted Sept. 15- Oct. 31. More information here.

Fully funded Japan study tour

To promote intercultural understanding between the U.S. and Japan, the Japan Foundation is sponsoring a nine-day trip to Japan, Nov. 24-Dec. 2, for a group of select HPU students. Application deadline: Sept. 30, 2015

Student Activity Funds request
The Student Activity Fee Allocation Committee will accept requests for Student Activity Fee funds according to the following deadlines. Requests must be submitted to the Dean of Students Office (MP 105) by 5 p.m. on these dates, or you may submit the form by email to safac@hpu.edu. More information and form here. Questions? Start a Club! Applications available
Applications for new Registered Student Organizations are being accepted through Sept. 21, 2015. Application packets are available online and in the Student Life office, Aloha Tower Suite 1400. Submit completed application packet in person to the Student Life office or email to leadership@hpu.edu. Clubs accepted for registration will be active as of Oct. 1.
Student parking & shuttle schedule
Hawaii Loa:
Parking decals for vehicles and motorcycles or mopeds and a 10-day parking discount punch card available for purchase at the Bookstore. 
Aloha Tower:
Motorcycle or moped parking decals for Irwin Park available for purchase at the Bookstore. There is a secured area under the Aloha Tower Campus Eva Pavilion for about 20 mopeds; there is a parking fee for this area in addition to the cost of the parking decal.
